Our Mission
To raise awareness about Hunter Syndrome and the lives that it affects. To identify, encourage, and disseminate research results and information aimed at improving the lives of persons with Hunter Syndrome. To give encouragement and support to families and persons affected by Hunter Syndrome when needed. To aide in funding research for treatment and a cure for Hunter Syndrome. To provide financial assistance to persons with Hunter Syndrome or affected by Hunter Syndrome. Financial assistance may be given upon request, review by the Board and a vote with at least two-thirds approval.
Help Extinguish Hunter Syndrome is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the sufferers of Hunter Syndrome and their families. Hunter Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that debilitates and shortens the lives of children. It is such a rare condition that rallying support has proven difficult and we desperately need your help. A cure can only be achieved through awareness and research, and without the kindness of supporters this rare and life limiting genetic condition will continue to be overlooked.
